Imperial USA door hardware is finished to match the look and durability requirements of any commercial opening. Across our locksets, exit devices, door closers, hinges, storefront hardware and accessories, you’ll find a full range of architectural finishes — brushed chrome, stainless steel, polished and satin brass, oil-rubbed bronze, satin nickel and black among them. US26D (Brushed Chrome) is our standard stocked finish. Because each product line carries its own finish options, not every finish is available on every item, so confirm the finish for your specific part when ordering.

Door & Frame Performance Specifications
This guide to hollow metal door finishes shows the standard and optional colors available on Imperial USA doors and frames. Our doors and frames are factory-finished with a durable, baked-on coating in your choice of RAL color. The standard color is RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey. Furthermore, any RAL color is available upon request, giving you full flexibility to match your project specification. These hollow metal door finishes arrive pre-finished and ready to install.
Stocking note: Only the standard Anthracite Grey is stocked in our warehouse. All other colors are available upon request for bulk orders.
All Imperial USA hollow metal doors and frames are designed to meet the requirements of ANSI/SDI A250.8-2017. All components, including doors, frames, and reinforcement, are manufactured from zinc-coated galvanized steel conforming to SDI 112-08 2023. The standard coating is A40/ZF120, with an optional A60/ZF180 for added corrosion resistance.
Every door and frame is cleaned and finished with one coat of factory baked-on, rust-inhibited primer in accordance with ANSI A250.10-2011. Moreover, the primer is available in oil-base or waterborne formulas based on your preference.
Our factory finish paint covers a wide range of popular standard colors along with custom-match options. As a result, your hollow metal door finishes arrive pre-finished and ready to install, which saves time and money on every project. In addition, pre-finished delivery ensures consistent color and quality across all units.
